CA Foundation Registration 2020
To use online for CA Foundation, candidates will first need to register with the Board of Studies (BoS) and complete the four months of the study period. The CA Foundation registration is open across the year. To appear for November 2020 exam you can register for CA Foundation by June 30, 2020.

ICAI conducts CA Foundation exams twice in a year that is May and November.
Eligibility for CA Foundation Registration 2020
After appearing in 12th exams or any equivalent examination the student is eligible to register for the CA Foundation course but the student is eligible to write the exams only after passing the 12th examinations
Appeared in 12th Class Exam: Senior Secondary (10+2) i.e. Higher Secondary (HS) Examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India; or
Appeared in 10+2 Equivalent Exam: An examination recognised by the Central Government(CG) or the State Government (SG) as equivalent to 12th Class examination for admission to graduation course.

These are the documents required for CA foundation Registration
- Passport Photo
- Specimen Signature
- Age Proof
- Attested copy of 10th & 12th Pass Mark sheet – For 12th PassedStudents
- Attested copy of proof of Nationality, if the student is a foreigner.
- Attested copy of the proof of special category certificate i.e SC/ST,OBC, Differently abled.
How To Register for CA Foundation 2020?
CA Foundation registration can be done easily by following these simple steps
Step 1: New students who want to register for CA for the first time click here. Now enter your details as shown on the screen.
- Salutation
- Name
- Gender
- DOB
- email id
- Mobile Number
- Country.
Note: Always Provide a proper email id and mobile number through which you will get the notification regarding your registration and other updates from ICAI and also make sure the information provided by you is correct because no changes are allowed after submission.
Now click Generate OTP. The OTP will be sent to your mobile number and the verification link will be sent to your email ID.
Step 2: Enter the captcha text and click on the submit button to receive your OTP.
Step 3: You will receive an OTP for validation.
Step 4: Enter the OTP to complete the validation and complete the Login process.
Step 5: Once OTP Validations is Completed, the Applicant will receive login credentials on Email/SMS for login and completion of the Course Registration Process.
Step 6: You can log in by clicking here. Enter the USER ID and PASSWORD and click login
Step 7: After logging in, candidates will see 2 options. Select ‘StudentCycle’ on the left side. Click ‘Apply for Foundation’ on the new screen.
Step 8: On the next window, some of the details will be already filled as you have filled them initially. The other details that have to be provided in the CA Foundation BOS Registration are:
- Marital Status
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Aadhar Number (optional)
- Pan Number (optional)
- Your correspondence and permanent address
- City
- Pin code
- Category
- Nationality
- and other more details
Note: The study material will be sent to you on your mentioned address. So provide the correct address.
Step 9: After filling all the details, click on ‘Save and Next’.
Step 10: Next window will require details about your 10th and 12th qualification
- Roll no
- Board name
- Year and month
- Result details (Marks, Percentage/CGPA).
You also have to upload the scanned copies of the original documents for 10th and 12th Mark sheets.(12th Admit card in case of provisional registration.)
Step 11: Select the medium of study- English or Hindi. Click Save and Next to proceed further.
Step12: Now upload your photograph and a specimen of scanned signature(should be on a blank white paper with blue ink). The maximum aspect ratio of the image is width: 21 centimetres and length:27 centimetres. The file size of every scanned document should be less than 1 MB and in a pdf or jpeg file format. Satisfy the given condition to avoid rejection of the application. Click on Generate OTP and enter the OTP you received.
Step 13: The last step involves the payment of the registration fees. You will be redirected to the payment gateway. You can make the payment through NetBanking/Debit Card/Credit Card. On successful payment of the fee, the system will automatically generate the form along with a successful transaction message.
Note: If in case On unsuccessful payment and no amount is debited try after some time or If the amount has debited from your account and your receive an unsuccessful payment message then contact the ICAI immediately
Step 14: Take a print out of the automatically generated form. Attach the required documents. Finally, you will have to post them to the postal address of ICAI.
On completion of the registration process, the study material will be sent to the candidates through the Centralised Dispatch System (CDS).
