The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the mandatory entry-level examination for students who wish to pursue the Company Secretary (CS) course conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
CSEET acts as the foundation stage of the CS qualification and evaluates a student’s readiness for corporate law, governance, compliance, and business management studies.

The CSEET examination is conducted over four days:
Day 1 – Business Communication | Subjective | 3 Hours
Focus: Professional drafting, comprehension, business writing skills.
Day 2 – Fundamentals of Accounting | Subjective | 3 Hours
Focus: Accounting principles, financial statements, conceptual clarity.
Day 3 – Economic & Business Environment | Subjective | 3 Hours
Focus: Business environment, economic systems, regulatory framework.
Day 4 – Business Laws & Management | OMR-based | 2 Hours | No negative marking
Focus: Legal fundamentals and management principles.
