WHAT IS FRM PART I?

First Level of FRM – GARP

FRM Part I is the first level of the Financial Risk Manager certification offered by Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

3. Financial Markets & Products (30%) – Bonds and fixed income securities, Futures & forwards, Options & swaps, Derivatives pricing basics, Hedging strategies, Structured products.

4. Valuation & Risk Models (30%) – Value at Risk (VaR), Expected Shortfall, Duration & Convexity, Binomial models, Black-Scholes model, CAPM & portfolio risk. Connects theory to practical valuation.
